Moisture Management
Designed to help move moisture away from the skin and support faster evaporation, helping you feel drier and more comfortable through the night.
WHISP TEXTILE INNOVATION
Whisp develops plant-based PLA textiles for softer, drier, and more comfortable sleepwear and bedding—designed with performance and environmental responsibility in mind.
Plant-based PLA textile technology for softer, drier, and more comfortable sleepwear and bedding.
Proprietary PLA textile development supported by U.S. patent applications.
WHY PLA
At Whisp, nighttime comfort begins with the material closest to the body.
Polylactic acid, or PLA, is a plant-based material that can be developed into soft, lightweight textile fibers. Whisp applies PLA-based textile development to sleepwear, bedding, and apparel with a focus on moisture movement, faster drying, softness, and breathable comfort.
Rather than relying only on temporary surface finishes, our approach begins with the fiber and fabric construction itself.
FABRIC PERFORMANCE
Whisp PLA-based fabrics are developed around the conditions that can make sleep uncomfortable—including moisture, lingering dampness, overheating, and sensitive skin.

Designed to help move moisture away from the skin and support faster evaporation, helping you feel drier and more comfortable through the night.
Smooth and soft to the touch, Whisp fabric is designed to feel gentle and comfortable against sensitive skin.
Quick-drying performance helps reduce lingering dampness, allowing sleepwear and bedding to feel fresher and more comfortable between washes.
Designed with a smooth surface and soft hand feel to provide a gentler experience for sensitive or easily irritated skin.
Whisp PLA-based fabrics begin with plant-derived materials and are developed with both performance and environmental impact in mind.
Compared with conventional petroleum-based textiles, PLA materials may offer opportunities to reduce reliance on fossil-based resources, depending on the material source, manufacturing process, and assessment method.
The quick-drying properties of Whisp fabrics may also help reduce drying time and energy use during everyday care.By combining moisture management, faster drying, thoughtful material selection, and considered product design, Whisp aims to support comfort while encouraging a more responsible approach to resource use.
Our approach begins with plant-derived PLA materials and considers how fibers, fabric construction, product durability, and manufacturing work together.
Quick-drying fabrics may require less drying time than heavier conventional textiles, depending on the product, machine, load size, climate, and care method.
